An awareness seminar for potential mentors and mentees
As part of the Women in Local Councils initiative a mentoring programme has been developed to meet the demand for a mentoring scheme for women in local government.
The primary aim is to build the capability of the individual mentee to perform and deliver more effectively through a supportive yet challenging relationship, so that all those involved in the outcome benefit from the programme – the specific council, peers and the wider local government sector.
