An event on the 28 March 2006 to raise awareness among employers of the impact of domestic violence
The Government nominated March 2006 as national Domestic Violence Month. As part of the Women in Local Councils Initiative we worked in partnership with the NI Court Service, Opportunity Now, Women’s Aid, the Irish Congress of Trade Unions and the PSNI to raise awareness among employers of the impact of domestic violence.
This event included a series of presentations and featured South and East Belfast Health and Social Services Trust, who have gained wide recognition for their Workplace Domestic Abuse Support Service initiative.
